Measles can spread to other people easily.

Patients who have an appointment to come into the practice should not attend if they have:

  • a fever and a rash; with
  • cold symptoms;
  • or a cough;
  • or red, sore eyes (conjunctivitis)

Please contact the surgery and one of our clinicians will call you back.

Appointment booking

You can book appointments with us online, on the telephone or in person at reception. Patients who need an appointment may be assessed by telephone call or online so that we can get you the correct care for your needs. You will be offered a face-to-face appointment if it is essential for you to be seen, or offered a telephone/ video appointment.

Online consultation form 

You can contact us online, through our online consultation form. You can use this to contact us about sick notes, test results, repeat prescriptions or to tell us about a new or ongoing medical problem.

If you need an urgent, on the day appointments, please call us on 01384 566 479 or book online via SystmOne.
If you need urgent medical attention when we are closed please call NHS 111. Or you can visit them online via https://111.nhs.uk

We are open Monday to Friday from 8am until 6.30pm.

If you need a routine GP or Nurse appointment, please book online via SystmOne or call us on 01384 566 479. We offer pre-bookable appointments up to four weeks in advance.

Booking, changing or cancelling appointments

Please let us know if you need to cancel or change your appointment. You can cancel, change and book appointments online via SystmOne or you can call us on 01384 566 479.

You can register to book, change or cancel appointments via SystmOne, by completing three steps.

1. Request your username and password from the practice.
2. Go to the SystmOne Online website – systmonline.tpp-uk.com
3. Enter your username and password on the SystmOne online login page and click Login.

You can also use the NHS app to book routine appointments, to book child vaccinations and health checks.

Telephone appointments

Can you ask for a telephone appointment with a doctor or nurse. Please make sure that your telephone is accessible and on loud. One of our team will call you.

Face-to-face appointments

If you need to see a doctor or nurse in person, our admin team will call you to arrange a time and day that is convenient for you. This will usually be the same or next day. Where possible with the clinician of your choice.

When we are closed

We are open Monday to Friday from 8am until 6.30pm.

If you need urgent medical attention when we are closed please call NHS 111. Or you can visit them online via https://111.nhs.uk.

If you are experiencing severe chest pain, loss of blood or suspect you have broken a bone, go to your nearest A&E department or call 999.

We are able to visit very poorly patients in their homes, if needed. If you need a home visit please call the surgery by 10am.

How you can help us

Please be on time for your appointment. Please let us know as soon as possible if you no longer need your appointment. You can text reply to your appointment reminder, do this online via SystmOne or by calling us. We can then offer the appointment to someone else. Please see our policy regarding missed appointments.
